The joint medical school of the Universities of Hull and York, Hull York Medical School has a reputation as one of the UKs most exciting, contemporary schools. RoleAs a member of the Learning Enhancement and Systems Team the IT Support Officer will provide day to day IT and systems support for Hull York Medical School staff and students, many of whom are based across a wide geographical region.
You will be supporting a wide range of systems and services that are used within the Medical School that includes on-premise bespoke systems, and cloud based tools such as Microsoft Teams and OneDrive, most of which now use Microsoft Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA). You will be the first point of contact, so will need to provide a high standard of customer service, resolving issues where possible and escalating queries where necessary.
This post is based at the University of York, but may occasionally require travel to the University of Hull or one of our affiliated NHS Hospital sites.
