The Department / School / College

This post sits within UWL's Campaigns Team which focuses on creating effecting advertising campaigns to recruit prospective students for both undergraduate and postgraduate study. The team also produce positive and engaging promotional material to support the University. The Team is part of the Marketing, Recruitment and Communications Department which also includes the Communications and Events, Campaigns, Digital and Admissions Teams.

The Role

This is an exciting role with opportunities to work on a range of international marketing and recruitment activities and will include planning, implementing, and reporting on international advertising, and the production and proofing of a range of marketing collateral to support the international recruitment activities and events.

The Person

Good communication skills are essential as you will work very closely with advertising and creative agencies and you will need to have excellent project management skills. The ability to write good copy and proof-read is essential.

Also required is a strong commitment to team working and being able to work on your own initiative, an understanding of the international educational market place, broad knowledge of the University's portfolio and an understanding of marketing communication techniques. Candidates will need to have prior marketing experience.
