Position Function:
Will report to the Manager at the Child Development and Family Studies Center. Responsible for assisting with teaching and caring for young children and interacting positively with staff, parents, and university students.
Employees hired into Intermittent positions are limited to working no more than 720 hours per fiscal year.
Salary Grade: UC

Department Profile:
The School of Human Sciences provides education, research, and outreach programs related to human interaction and relationships, early childhood, child life, youth, adult and family studies, and teacher education in Family and Consumer Sciences and Agricultural Education. In addition, selected school programs focus on commerce, marketing, and using technology for problem solving and designing programs and projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Properly supervising and monitoring the safety of children
- Assist primary teacher with a group of children. - Provides for the care, safety, and well-being of all children in the group. - Follows personnel policies of the Child Development and Family Studies Center and the University. - Performs related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to follow instructions.
