Department RWJ-Family Med-Hospital Med Div Salary Commensurate With Experience Posting Summary

The faculty member primary duties and responsibilities will be to work the day shift in the medical observation unit as a Hospitalist faculty member at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, delivering state of the art and high quality care through a team based approach to care. Also following a service of up to twenty patients. Must work at least 37 weeks on this service as assigned. This will include weekend call of an average of one weekend per month and night call as assigned. Duties also include providing leadership and fulfilling administrative and teaching responsibilities inherent in achieving program goals, care of the hospitalized patient. Will also be expected to complete all clinical and administrative work in a timely fashion.

To be qualified, candidate must be board certified/eligible and have competence in the care of adults.

Minimum Education and Experience

Maintenance of a full, unconditional, and unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of New Jersey, and registration by the State and federal agencies, is a condition of employment with the university. One to five years of experience preferred.

Certifications/Licenses

Medical License, CDS, DEA, certification of residency etc.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

SCM, EMR, ICD-10 coding, PatientKeeper, IPhone, and HIPPA training
