Description of Work Unit
The Art & Art History Department curriculum supports majors in Studio Art
(BA, BFA and MFA), Art History (BA), and Art Education (BFA).
Concentrations include: Art Education, Art History, Drawing, Electronic Art,
Fibers, Graphic Design, Metalsmithing, Painting, Photo Image Making, Pottery,
Printmaking, and Sculpture. Colorado State University has a strong and on-

Position End Date
Instructors are hired to teach courses in studio art, art education, and art
history areas. This pool is for non-tenure track positions and is intended to
collect applications throughout the year. The department draws from this pool
if and when there is a need for a non-tenure track (and often temporary)
instructor in a specific area or for a specific class. There may be any number
of reasons for this type of hire: temporary sabbatical replacement, instructor
replacement, retirements, emergency medical leave replacements, etc.

Candidates should have relevant teaching experience.
Preferred Job Qualifications
A terminal degree (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
