The Department of Chemistry at Marshall University seeks to fill a one-year TEMP at the instructor

level in any area of general chemistry starting in the Fall 2022 semester. Qualified applicants will have an M.S. in Chemistry or equivalent experience, and a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching. For more information about our department, please visit

Teaching will be in the area of expertise and in first-year chemistry courses. The Department also seeks candidates who will contribute to the University's general education curriculum, with its emphasis on a common First-Year Seminar and core curriculum courses that enhance student's critical thinking and the College's support of interdisciplinary programs of study.
