Position DescriptionInstructor or Clinical Associate Professor of Special Education is a permanent non-tenure-track 9-month appointment involving teaching and service.
Job Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of this position are to teach undergraduate and graduate courses in special education and related areas; supervise teacher candidates; advise graduate candidates; serve on doctoral committees; and participate in curriculum revision and development; teach online courses; advance awareness of students with disabilities.
Minimum Qualifications
Applicants must have a specialist degree in Special Education or closely related field by time of appointment. Applicants must also have a minimum of five (5) years of K-12 experience teaching special education and/or Special Education administration and the ability to work with the professional community and potential for grant writing and research.
