Job Description Summary
Teach a minimum of a regular course load per regular semester that could
include online courses and/or dual-credit/early college classes.
Demonstrate skill, knowledge, and abilities in the teaching discipline. Teach
assigned courses in a variety of times and locations in response to

a variety of teaching methods and materials to assist students who have
differing educational and experiential backgrounds in meeting the course

provided to insure course content and objectives are met.

Successful college teaching experience is required. Successful experience
utilizing instructional technologies, including computers, internet resources
and other appropriate media in instruction.
Associate in Applied Science degree in Automotive.
Five (5) years of related work experience in the automotive field.
Current Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification in G1-Auto
Maintenance and Light Repair and A6-Electrical/Electronics.
Master Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Certification.
Ability to teach and communicate with students of varied multicultural
Knowledge of and commitment to teaching strategies and methods which enhance
student success. Knowledge of a learning college and/or knowledge of learning
Experience teaching college level online courses and/or documented successful
training in a college online learning management system (e.g. Blackboard,
Basis computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office Suite.
