The Instructor NT is a non-tenure track position with responsibilities to
teach full-time and to provide appropriate service. The Instructor NT may
participate in research or creative activities.
Description of Primary Duties
The successful candidate(s) will be expected to engage in high-quality
teaching in one or more of the areas above. Teaching will include both online
and face-to-face modalities. Service to the Department, College, University
and community is also expected.
Minimum Acceptable Qualifications
An earned terminal degree or the degree required for teaching in certain
disciplines is required. Potential or demonstrated teaching ability is
required. A willingness to serve the academic unit, college, and the
University is required. The ability to develop knowledge of, respect for, and
skills to engage with those of other cultures or backgrounds is required.
an earned Master's degree from an AACSB or ABET accredited institution in
Information Systems, Business Administration, or a closely related field at
the time of appointment.
Evidence of the potential for high quality teaching in one or more of the
following areas is highly desired—Management Information Systems, Business
Applications/Excel, Critical and Creative Thinking Using IT.
