Eligibility criteria

List of required documents to be submitted by the candidate:

1) application to the Rector on joining the competition;

2) personal questionnaire, curriculum vitae (CV);

3) photocopies of the higher education diploma(s), (in the case of diplomas obtained in an EU, OECD or EFTA Member State, a sworn translation into Polish is required - in view of the wording of Article 326 in conjunction with Article 327 of the Act) of July 20, 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science) and a diploma confirming the acquisition of the doctoral degree;

4) a list of published scientific papers;

5) copies of certificates, diplomas and other documents confirming any additional qualifications;

6) an opinion or references from the supervisor from the previous or current place of work or the supervisor of the completed doctoral dissertation;

7) a declaration stating that the Pedagogical University of Krakow will be the primary place of work (in case of winning the competition);

8) a declaration of knowledge and acceptance of the rules on intellectual property and legal protection of intellectual property at the Pedagogical University of Krakow;

9) a declaration on the lack of kinship in accordance with art. 118 of the Act of July 20 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574);

10) a declaration of compliance with the conditions specified in Art. 113 of the Act of July 20 2018 Law on Higher Education and Science (i.e. Journal of Laws of 2022, item 574).

Skills/Qualifications

1) Ph.D. degree in the discipline of literary studies;

2) experience in digital editing and critical editing of works of early literature;

3) predisposition to research work, confirmed by published scientific papers;

4) experience in teaching at a higher education institution;

5) editorial experience in a scientific journal will be an additional advantage.

Additional requirements for persons entering the competition:

1) knowledge of the use of graphic programs and tools for typesetting and texts designing;

2) experience in managing the Internet content, including social media;

3) experience in working on the publishing market;

4) participation in research grants or projects;

5) ability to work in a team;

6) knowledge of foreign languages.
