Major Duties
The main teaching responsibility is CIS 2700 Business-Driven Information Technology. The Department may arrange the instructor to teach CIS 2640 Applied Analytics Foundations or other CIS courses when needed. In addition, the instructor is expected to participate in departmental activities and create class lessons, assignment and activities that are consonant with the master syllabus of the mentioned courses. Service to the department, college, university and community, as well as appropriate maintenance of AACSB qualification credentials, are expected.
Minimum Qualifications
The applicant shall possess a minimum master degree in CIS, IS, MIS or the related field from an accredited institution. Candidate must meet 2013 AACSB faculty qualification standards
Desired Qualifications
Prior teaching experience in CIS or related courses is preferred. Additional experience in business settings (including non-profits) is desirable

Additional Position Information:
There are currently 18 full-time (tenured, tenure-track, and term) faculty of two programs: Computer Information Systems and Business Communications. Both programs are accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB). The Department offers four majors: Business Analytics (BA), Computer Information Systems (CIS), Cybersecurity (CYSC), and Digital Marketing and E-Commerce (DME); two minors, Business Analytics (BA) and Computer Information Systems (CIS); an MBA concentration in CIS, a Graduate Certificate in Cybersecurity, and an MS in Cybersecurity.
