Position Title Institutional ResearcherJob Description
Join our dynamic team at Iowa Western, as a skilled Institutional Researcher and play a key role in driving institutional excellence! This position is an on-campus position that reports Monday-Friday from 8am-4:30pm. The Institutional Researcher uses qualitative and quantitative data to help the institution track and report on key performance indicators, trends, and benchmarks. This position handles short-term and long-term projects, including IPEDS reporting and ad-hoc requests. Having experience in higher education institutional research is beneficial, but not required. The ideal candidate also knows how to take information and put it into easily-understood infographics, charts, and reports for multiple stakeholders. Using Excel is essential for performing this position, as is time management, attention to detail and organization. The Institutional Researcher knows the importance of documenting processes and storing raw data to ensure the institution's ability to provide consistent and replicable reporting. This position allows for an individual to work independently and as part of a team. Not only is the Institutional Researcher part of Institutional Effectiveness, but the position works closely with IT, and serves on shared governance committees. If this sounds like you, apply today!
