for the research project "Smart Fidelity Interaktionssystem zur Steigerung
der Realitätsnähe bei der Durchführung handwerklicher Tätigkeiten in
Virtual Reality (SmartFi)".
Subject to the availability of funds, the position is to be filled by
September 1, 2021 on a fixed-term basis until June 30, 2022.
Description of Responsibilities:
The position involves participation in the research activities within the
research project "Smart Fidelity Interaktionssystem zur Steigerung der
Realitätsnähe bei der Durchführung handwerklicher Tätigkeiten in
Virtual Reality (SmartFi)".
Specifically, the responsibility of the advertised position covers the
performance of psychophysical and physiological experiments in VR in the
context of embodied cognition.
Applicants are expected to have an excellent academic degree
(Master/Diploma) in Cognitive Science or related fields.
They must have a profound knowledge of the neurophysiology of cognitive
Experience in conducting complex psychophysical and physiological
experiments including the interaction of several agents in dyads and
Experience in eye-tracking and advanced data analysis techniques
(generalized linear models, Bayesian statistical techniques) by
MatLab/Python/R is required.
Finally, a good command of the English language is expected.
