Job Based in Student and Academic Services Unit at the City West Campus
About You
You are a highly motivated Information Analyst with exceptional relationship building skills and a keen eye for detail. You are passionate about continuous quality improvement and enjoy collaborating with staff across multiple channels to share information.
About the Role
Reporting to the Manager: System Development, Integration and Reporting (SDIR) you will spearhead high-level data analytics and reporting initiatives, leveraging your expertise to interpret and analyse data using basic statistical techniques. Your role will involve employing data visualisation to produce ongoing reports and meet student lifecycle reporting requirements. In this capacity, you will investigate, identify, develop, and publish comprehensive student data reports to the University community through tools such as COGNOS Report Studio.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for coordinating SAS student data reporting, efficiently tracking, and managing ad hoc requests in accordance with agreed service standards through the help desk ticketing system. Coordinating and driving internal quality assurance processes, including peer reviews, and monitoring turnaround times and feedback for all student data requests, will be crucial aspects of your role.
About the Student and Academic Services Unit
The Student and Academic Services Unit (SAS) provides senior leadership in student and academic administration in a distributed service environment. It is responsible for the development and maintenance of policy, information systems and procedural frameworks. The Unit coordinates and provides quality assurance for a number of University functions including student admissions, enrolments, examinations, graduations, student finance and scholarships.
