Exciting new role to join the award-winning ePrescribing support team at University Hospital NHS FT. You will be a key member of the ePrescribing team working closely with system users and service providers to deliver system support to the Trust.
We are looking for an individual with good verbal and written communication skills who enjoys supporting individuals with system access and use.
Pharmacy IMT team as a whole consist of 3 specialist areas that include ePrescribing team, High Cost Drug team and Pharmacy IMT.
The ePrescribing team has 3 different shift patterns of early shift, mid shift and late shift which translate to core working hours of between 0800 to 2000 Monday to Friday with weekend and on call commitment.
The team works closely together with clinicians and nursing staff in order to provide an ePrescribing system which improves clinical practice, medication safety, reduces paperwork thus releasing time for improved patient care and creates opportunities.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities Your ResponsibilitiesThe successful applicant must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have excellent communication skills.
This role involves a significant amount of computer-based working, whilst detailed knowledge of IT is not required, a basic understanding is expected, as is the ability to organise, time manage and the ability work independently and as part of a team.
The applicant must be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be confident dealing with a wide range of healthcare professionals.
In addition to sound pharmaceutical and clinical knowledge, excellent IT skills and the ability to work with a range of computer systems are highly desirable as is experience in training others and process development.
This is an ideal opportunity to develop new skills and experience in an area of pharmacy practice which is increasingly becoming an important part of the NHS future vision.
Ideally the applicant has clean driving license as might travel between sites i.e. CMH, RSH
Shift patterns: Early shift 0800 -1600, Mid shift 1000-1800; Late shift 1200-2000 with on call and weekend working commitment.
Mon-Thursday On call from 20:00 till 08:00
Weekends:
Friday – On Call from 20:00 hrs till Saturday 09:00hrs Saturday – On Site 09:00hrs till 13:00hrs Saturday – On Call from 13:00hrs till Sunday 09:00hrs Sunday – On Site 09:00hrs till 13:00hrs Sunday – On Call from 13:00hrs till Monday 08:00hrs.
