One of the top-ranked universities globally, the University of Southampton is an exceptional place where people achieve remarkable things. Outward looking and research intensive, Southampton has gained prestigious recognition for its wide-ranging successes and history of world-changing achievements.

Innovation is the lifeblood of the University of Southampton and together with SETsquared Partnership we deliver a number of programmes helping turn ideas into thriving businesses. The IMPACT-IP Programme focusing on deal readiness aims to harness the collective capability across our SETsquared Partners with investors, entrepreneurs and professional service firms to transform how we support spinout outs and commercialisation.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Coordinator to join the IMPACT-IP team. You will be working closely with the Innovation Programme Manager and Stakeholder Engagement & Cohort Manager to support the planning and delivery of the IMPACT-IP Programme.

About you:

You'll be able to work accurately, bring excellent communication and organisational skills and have a keen eye for detail. You'll be an engaged team member, but also able to work independently and manage your own workload.

In this role:

You will be overseeing the admin support processes for the IMPACT-IP Programme:

  • Coordinating events and training throughout the partner Universities
  • Contributing to the regular newsletter and communications to raise awareness of the Programme
  • Helping to foster and manage relationships throughout the SETsquared partnership and within the wider Higher Education Providers associated with the programme
  • You will have strong organisational and inter-personal skills to succeed in working in large, collaborative teams across Research & Innovation Services (RIS) and the wider university.
  • What we can offer you:

In return, you can look forward to an excellent benefits package, a generous holiday allowance and a flexible home/office hybrid working model supporting work/life balance. We will support your long-term future too, with access to a pension scheme, subsidized health and fitness facilities and a range of discounts. As a university we aim to create an environment where everyone can thrive and are proactive in fostering a culture of inclusion, respect and equality of opportunity. We believe that we can only truly meet our objectives if we are reflective of society, so we are passionate about creating a working environment in which you are free to bring your whole self to work.
