  • A research fellowship position is now available at the BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. The research activity concerns the design and development of an embedded board to control a robotic prosthesis. The candidate will work on the design and the development of the board. Moreover, the embedded board will be tested in the real-time control of the device using the electromyographic signal. The candidate knows the main design and programming rules of embedded boards. The candidate will use electronic design development tools (Altium designer), firmware developing tools based on C, C++, Assembler (Microchip, NCP) to design and program embedded systems for robotic prosthetic control. Moreover, the candidate will use software for high-level analysis(Matlab). A proven experience in circuit simulation (PSpice) and in hardware debugging using common laboratory tools is also desirable.
