IA Project Officer

This job is available to current employees in the Clinical Trials Admin Team (Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine, School of Medicine), University of Leeds only.

You will work in the Inflammatory Arthritis (IA) team under the direction of Prof Paul Emery and Dr Kulveer Mankia, focussing on the prevention of rheumatoid arthritis, leading on the set-up, operation, and closure of primarily investigator-initiated academic studies. You will also contribute to the development of research grant applications within the IA portfolio and the dissemination of research findings by contributing to high-quality publications in clinical and scientific Journals and/or presenting at local or national meetings. You will have experience of trial coordination gained working on clinical trials along with an up-to-date knowledge of the legislation, regulatory and governance environment relating to clinical trials. As you will work closely, interactively and collaboratively with numerous stakeholders you will need excellent communication, interpersonal and team working skills, along with the ability to manage and meet deadlines.
