Are you a skilled Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) project engineer, willing to take an active role in design, construction, testing, commissioning and operation of HVAC, air distribution, district heating, water colling equipment and systems for CERN's buildings and infrastructure? You will join the Infrastructure Section (IN), within the Site Asset Management (SAM) Group in the Site and Civil Engineering (SCE) Department, which is in charge of the operation, maintenance, design, tendering and work phases of HVAC, Electrical and Sanitary installations for buildings in the CERN sites.
Functions
As an HVAC project engineer, you will be in charge of the design and construction of HVAC plants for new technical projects or buildings, and the refurbishment or upgrade of existing systems in CERN's campus.
You will:
Master's degree or equivalent relevant experience in the field of mechanical engineering, preferably with a specialization in industrial ventilation and hydraulics installations or a related field.

Knowledge of EU regulations: in particular HVAC process and regulation: bMS (Building management Systems) as well as ISO 50001 standards and RE2020 regulation.
Thermal building load calculation according to Swiss or French thermal regulation.

Spoken and written English and French: ability to draw up technical texts, understand and speak the two languages in professional contexts.
