People are at the heart of all we do, and we want to be recognised by colleagues, students and our external partners as a University that acts with respect and integrity. Through our values, we create an environment where everyone involved feels proud, confident, challenged, and supported.
As such, we are currently recruiting an HR Business Partner to act as a member of the functional leadership team and work closely with key stakeholders to support aligned areas to achieve their strategic objectives.
The Role:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience as an HR Generalist to act as a coach and advisor to key stakeholders, and to collaborate with senior leaders and colleagues across the University, to enable the effective integration and alignment of HR strategies with other deliverables.
Working closely with the areas you partner you will be in the position to use your strong leadership and management skills to support the achievement of strategic objectives and a high-performance culture.
As a member of your area's functional leadership teams, the post will offer you a wide variety of projects to undertake, complimenting your existing experience with the opportunity to offer HR expertise on change initiatives for the schools that you partner with, support the delivery of successful projects and programmes, drive workforce planning and employee engagement, and regularly review data sets to ensure that potential issues are being challenged and addressed quickly.
You will need to take advantage of your strong interpersonal skills of course, as you will also be collaborating with other teams from across HR to ensure that a diverse workforce with the right skills and behaviour is being attracted and selected to join Edinburgh Napier University, whilst ensuring that we are implementing development interventions which support our people plans on an ongoing basis.
This is an exciting time to be joining the University with many new and innovative projects, programmes and change initiatives taking place at any given time. We look forward to hearing from you on how you can potentially contribute to this.
