Job Description:

The ideal candidate will be able to
Work closely with the HR team to efficiently and effectively complete a
variety of critical HR processes, including recruiting, onboarding,
benefits, and training.
Work in partnership with the hiring manager to source, screen, interview,
hire, and onboard highly qualified candidates to support the ministry's
growing outreaches.
Build solid, genuine relationships with potential job candidates and those
within the ministry.
Provide guidance to staff, management, and team members regarding policies
and procedures, employment law, compliance, performance management, and
other HR-related matters.
Maintain accurate and timely data and reports that help leadership measure
the health of the workforce and provide actionable insights to improve
employee and candidate experience.
Ensure all personnel files, data, and practices are in compliance with
relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
Use HR software (Paycor) to manage employee information, including
benefits and payroll.
Administer multiple state tax and unemployment accounts, set up new
accounts, and/or terminate inactive accounts.
Oversee employee leave and related tasks for FMLA, Short Term/Long Term
Disability, and Workers' Compensation.
This position is for a non-profit Christian ministry located in Central
Florida. At this time, we are only able to hire individuals who are authorized
to work in the United States.
Position Qualifications:
Requirements include
3+ years of previous HR practice with hands-on experience in recruiting,
compensation/benefits, and payroll
Proven ability to effectively locate and screen candidates who meet
specific job requirements
Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, management, or a related
degree; HR certification preferred
A thorough understanding of Ligonier's mission and outreaches and a
genuine passion for accomplishing it
Outstanding written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with HR software systems and regulatory reporting agencies
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications with a focus on Excel
Ability to handle corporate and employee information with confidentiality
and tact
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Affirm and agree to Ligonier's Core Statement of Faith
