  • Role can be based at La Trobe University's Melbourne (Bundoora) or Victorian regional campuses (supporting hybrid work arrangements)
  • $109,826.73 – $120,817.71 TRP inclusive of 17% superannuation

    • About the Position

    Under the leadership of the Senior HR Business Partner, this position will build, drive and maintain strong and successful relationships with designated client areas to anticipate customer needs and provide innovative, impactful, practical and relevant HR advice and solutions, that are compliant with legislation, the University's Collective Agreement and University policies and procedures.

    Skills and Experience

    To be considered for this position, you will have:

  • A degree in any area relevant to the position with at least 4 years subsequent experience; or extensive experience and management expertise.
  • Experience facilitating clients through robust HR practices to enable strategic thinking and solutions for the future.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, initiative, diplomacy, tact and discretion as well as proven experience handling sensitive and personal information in a confidential and appropriate manner.
  • Negotiate solutions where a range of interests have to be accommodated, often requiring working with contributors with different areas of expertise.
