The Hospitality Supervisor plays a critical role in the Catering and Events team of the Commercial Services Directorate, responsible for the delivery of food and beverages across the University campus as well as to buildings in the City Centre. The successful candidate will also support the Hospitality and Banqueting Team Leader with the delivery of functions and events.

Specifically, post-holder duties include:

  • Taking responsibility for a team of hospitality assistants to ensure the delivery of food and beverages to campus buildings is carried out in a timely manner
  • Provide direction to Hospitality Assistants, ensuring they are aware of how their roles and activities contribute to operational and strategic objectives
  • Assist in implementing at the customer service level, all policies, processes, systems and procedures to ensure an excellent service is provided to all customers
  • Note that this role includes some evening and weekend work in line with business requirements.
