Permanent Whole Time Post

UCC wishes to appoint an experienced individual to the role of Health & Safety Advisor. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Risk Management/Deputy Corporate Secretary, the Health and Safety Advisor will play a key role in enabling the University Community to meet the ever-growing occupational health and safety requirements applicable to the University. In collaboration with the other members of the function they will educate, collaborate, and engage with various internal and external partners and stakeholders to facilitate a culture of enterprise risk management for the University community and champion best practices to the benefit of the entire University.

The successful candidate will be part of a high-performing group of professionals and will actively contribute to the Office of Corporate and Legal Affairs' continuous efforts in implementing process improvements to ensure excellence in service delivery. The work in this role will be diverse and challenging and will provide the successful candidate with interesting experience across a broad range of matters as well as the opportunity to develop their skills, and knowledge.

Appointment may be made on the Admin I (Grade 7) Salary Scale: €72,946 - €96,093 (Scale B) / €70,437 - €91,287 (Scale A)

Salary placement on appointment will be in accordance with public sector pay policy .
