OPPORTUNITY
The Head of Compliance and Legal is responsible for overseeing all legal and
compliance matters related to the University's operation. This position will
play a crucial role in ensuring that the University operates within the legal
framework and complies with all regulations and requirements. The successful

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting line: Director of Support Division
1. Legal
Provide legal advice in liaison with legal consultants, manage all
institution, labor and compliance matters.
Monitor changes to laws and regulations and inform all relevant personnel
to the changes, providing suggestions on how to promptly reflect such
change(s) in current processes of the University.
Draft and/or review legal documents, contracts and agreements and monitor
legal obligations under agreements sent to government authorities related
to VinUni's activities.
Conduct compliance checklists and monitor the implementation of legal
compliance at the College/ Department level.
Conduct regular compliance, internal policies, and regulations training
for employees.
Maintain good relationships and coordinate with relevant regulatory
authorities and stakeholders on University-related matters.
2. Compliance, internal audit and inspection
Conduct compliance programs that align with VinUni's regulations and
policies.
Advise management on potential risks and recommend solutions to ensure
compliance and enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the
University's operation.
Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and
internal policies.
Conduct non-compliant incidents inspection or collaborate with other
stakeholders to conduct the inspection.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA
A bachelor's degree in law, Business management or other related field is
required from a prestigious University.
Profound knowledge of Corporate Law, Commercial Law, Business Law, Higher
Education Law, and other Vietnamese laws.
Have a minimum of seven (07) years legal/compliance or internal control
experience. Experience working in a multinational environment is an
advantage.
Excellent in Vietnamese and English (especially writing & reading
skills).
Master coherent, progressive, and creative thinking; have a spirit and
passion for education; to be able to take prompt actions with
determination and be ready to take on new challenges.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY
English is the language of teaching and communication at Vin University. For
this role, the minimum requirement is IELTS (Academic) with a score of at
least 7.0.
COMPENSATION
The salary benefits are internationally competitive and commensurate with
qualifications and experience.
