Position Title Group Fitness Instructor - Part time Department Activities Ctr - Students Division Student Affairs and Athletics Supervisor Title ASSOCIATE ATHLETIC DIRECTOR FOR COMPLIANCE AND INTERNAL OPERATIONS Status Temporary Position Summary

This position is part- time; 2-4 hours a week to teach group fitness classes.

Description of Key Responsibilities

- Teach Group fitness classes - Keep track of all participation in fitness classes - Assist with the development of class schedule - Assist with the equipment inventory and maintenance - Maintain knowledge of current group fitness trends and practices - Enforce Rec Sports policies and procedures - Adhere and execute the departments risk management plan - Educate participants on proper and safe exercise form - Provide any and all music needed for fitness classes

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Group fitness instruction experience.

Distinguishing Characteristics

Teach Group fitness classes, track all participation in fitness classes, assist with the development of class schedule.

Education/Training

- High School diploma or equivalent

Experience

- Group fitness instruction experience mandatory.

Licenses or Certifications

Up to date certifications in specific area of expertise.
