Campus Enterprises is NC State University's division of retail and hospitality organizations — NC State Dining, NC State Stores, Lonnie Poole Golf Course, NC State Student Centers (Witherspoon and Talley), and the One Card Office. Essential Job Duties

This position will serve as a Graphic Designer for the Campus Enterprises marketing team. This position will provide digital media, print design, photography, videography illustration, and branding primarily for NC State Dining, Catering, Wolfpack One Card and central Campus Enterprises, providing occasional support for other division units. This position is a part of a team that includes a director, three project managers, a second graphic designer and several student staff members.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Collaborate with marketing managers to create design and develop digital web assets, email campaigns, social media graphics, visual merchandising and print publications.
  • Provide photography support for products and events throughout Campus Enterprises.
  • Shoot and edit video content for social media and other communication initiatives.
  • Develop and maintain a template library for individual unit usage
  • Understand the language of college students, faculty, staff and administrators and design congruent with the targeted audience.
  • Multitask and prioritize work flow as well as an understanding of the amount of time necessary to complete a given project.
  • Work with print vendors to order projects of the highest quality within budget.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure Campus Enterprises' business needs are met.
  • Qualifications

    Minimum Experience/Education

    High school diploma or equivalency and two years of visual/graphic arts experience related to the area of assignment; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

    Other Required Qualifications

  • Must have graphic design experience and strong photography skills
  • Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Demonstrated ability to work within brand guidelines to create high quality work
  • Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree in Art, Design or a related field
  • Three years of experience in designing for diverse demographics
  • Experience in designing in a University or retail setting
  • Experience designing retail email and web campaigns
  • HTML experience
  • Experience producing and editing digital video and still photography
  • Required License or Certification
