Internship to begin in fall 2023 (flexible on start and end date depending on performance). Location: Norfolk campus with hybrid/flex work opportunity.

Hours: 15 hours per week (flexible).

Campus Norfolk, NE General Description

As a graphic design intern in the Northeast Community College marketing office, you'll be an important part of the marketing team, working closely with all marketing department staff. You will design print and digital marketing materials. The ideal person for this position enjoys collaborating with others to share ideas and is open to constructive feedback, is organized and responsible in completing tasks on time, and wants to be part of a fast- paced office creating work for a variety of partners. Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is required.

During this internship, you can expect to:

  • Take the lead on a design project that will be produced (under the direction of the Creative Manager). This is a great opportunity to build your professional portfolio.
  • Update or revise existing design materials such as marketing collateral, print advertisements, digital ads, banners, signage and more.
  • Collaborate with the entire marketing team, working closely with the Creative Manager.
  • Maintain brand standards and utilize brand voice.
  • Tag and organize photography assets. Source stock images, as needed. Potential to assist with photo editing.
  • Maintain and archive files and perform regular job file backup.
  • Work within a professional project management system.
  • Qualifications: Education

    Applicant must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite is required.
  • Qualification:Skills

    Must be able to work independently, communicate effectively, and have good customer service skills.
