About the Role
The Graduate Conservator, Paper and Books role operates within Grimwade Conservation Services. The position is designed to provide the opportunity for skills development and career advancement for a recent conservation graduate who wishes to specialise in the treatment of paper and books.
The Graduate Conservator, Paper and Books will participate in and observe a range of conservation work designed to extend their conservation skills and experience, and independently carry out a range of general lab activities to support the team in the delivery of the work plan.

You will be a recent graduate of a specialist conservation degree (up to 5 years) with a high level of demonstrated aptitude for paper and book conservation. You have a high level of interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly and work co-operatively and effectively in a team environment.
