Job Description

The Graduate Assistant Research, under general supervision will perform research on assigned projects for the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. This position is funded by a grant or restricted funds. Continued employment is contingent on the renewal of grant or restricted funding.


  • Perform research as assigned.

  • Write papers on research findings.

  • Present at Conferences/Workshops research outcomes.

  • Performing other duties as assigned.

  • Required Education and Experience:

  • Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering.

  • Must be enrolled as a full-time graduate student at Prairie View A&M University. (Minimum of 9 credit hours during the regular fall and spring semesters and 6 semester credit hours for the summer semester).

  • Must be in good academic standing.

  • No prior experience.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Organization.

  • Verbal Communication.

  • Multi-tasking.
