Join AusCAPPS Network as a Research Fellow and be part of an initiative that is continuing its mission to enhance the availability of essential women's reproductive health services across Australian primary care. As the Research Fellow, you will manage the project, ensuring its success in increasing the number of GPs, pharmacists, nurses and other eligible health professionals involved in the provision of long-acting reversible contraception and early medical abortion.

In this pivotal role, you will oversee the project's delivery according to the plan while contributing your valuable GP insights. Your responsibilities will include conducting independent and collaborative research, producing conference papers, seminar presentations and publications that highlight the impact of the AusCAPPS Network. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to meet the project's objectives, fostering a supportive environment for healthcare providers dedicated to women's health. This is an opportunity to influence national healthcare practices and policies, making a lasting difference in reproductive health services.

Candidates for this position should have clinical experience in women's health working as a general practitioner. Ideally we are looking for someone with a background in medical education and experience working with stakeholders in primary care. Experience in the supervision of GP registrars or practice nurses and research are highly desirable.
