Position InformationUnder the supervision of the Director of Gift Administration, the gift and information system specialist is an integral member of the Gift Administration team responsible for the quality and integrity of the alumni and donor database and ensuring that all gifts and pledges are recorded, acknowledged, and reported accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with established policies and procedures.
The maximum hiring budget for this position is up to $59,717/yr.
As a condition of employment, you will be required to comply with the University of California SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) Vaccination Program Policy. All Covered Individuals under the policy must provide proof of Full Vaccination or submit a request for Exception (based on Medical Exemption, Disability, and/or Religious Objection) or Deferral (based on pregnancy) no later than the applicable deadline. For new University of California employees, the applicable deadline is ten weeks after their first date of employment.
Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement5 years of administrative experience in an office environment providing administrative support to staff, customers, visitors etc; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Required

Preferred Four (4) years of experience processing gifts or related experience Preferred Knowledge and experience working in an Alumni and Constituent database. Preferred Demonstrated data entry and data management experience. Required

Minimum RequirementsAbility to verify and enter financial, statistical, policy and procedure information efficiently and accurately. Demonstrated advanced skill levels in accurate record keeping with strict attention to detail. Proficiency in applicable software such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to deal with confidential information in an appropriate manner. Rapid, accurate typing skills. Correct usage of English, spelling, grammar, and punctuation. Proficient in producing word processing letters, document merge routines, and spreadsheets. Knowledge of fundraising activities or gift administration processes and policies.
