Position Title General MaintenanceJob Description
This position performs a wide range of facilities services tasks including non-technical maintenance of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilating, and/or air conditioning facilities and equipment, at a level not requiring formal licensure. May be required to perform tasks of other unlicensed trades, such as a light equipment operator, carpenter, painter, and/or locksmith.

High School Diploma or GED.. Must pass criminal background check, drug screening and physical health requirements. Have a valid U.S. driver license and good driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
1-3 years general maintenance experience.
Physical Demands
Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Extensive physical activity: Requires strenuous physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects over 50 pounds. The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods of time and use hands to operate computer keyboard, telephone and basic office equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with internal and external customers, listen to and respond accurate information and directions. (hear), and observe, assess, identify, detect. Ability to drive company owned or personal vehicle and operate lifts and machinery. Must be able to move objects, and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina.
