Annual and Sick Leave – Classified Staff, Non-Classified Staff and 12-month Faculty earn up to 24 days of annual leave per year (max 360 hours) and up to 18 days of sick leave per year. ) Employee Leave
Health Insurance – Marshall University offers health insurance through West Virginia Public Employees Insurance Agency (PEIA). There are seven (7) health benefit plans.
Educational/Tuition Benefits – Marshall University provides tuition benefits to regular employees (after probationary period) and their dependent children.
Retirement Plans – Marshall University offers retirement through Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA). Full-time benefits eligible employees must participate in the mandated retirement plan (401(a)).

Provides necessary maintenance in performing general carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, painting. Successful applicant operates and uses various hand and power tools and equipment necessary to complete assignments. Maintains tools and equipment in good condition. Cleans work areas, picks up materials and supplies from warehouse or storeroom. Operates a motor vehicle in the performance of job duties. Perform other related duties as assigned.
Location MU - Marshall University Salary Range $34,200- $44,400 - Salary is commensurate with experience and internal equity Salary Grade 5
Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
Eighteen (18) months of building maintenance training beyond high school typically obtained in a technical or vocational school and over two years of work experience in facility maintenance.
All phases of building maintenance including HVAC, painting, plumbing, carpentry and electrical experience.
Preference will be given to applicant holding one of three licenses: Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC.
Two years work experience in facility maintenance. Must possess a valid driver's license. Must be able to perform all essential job duties as outlined in the job description.
