The University now seeks an accomplished senior legal professional for the role of General Counsel at this pivotal time.
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working closely with the Vice- Chancellor and the Executive Leadership Group, the appointee will lead a high- performing team of legal practitioners in providing strategic legal and compliance advice that underpins sound decision-making. It's an exciting time at the University of Adelaide, and whilst the position will be focused on the provision of GC capability, this role will contribute to creating the new Adelaide University by 2026.

University experience is not a prerequisite. Commercial and political acumen, strong communication, collaboration and negotiation capabilities and organisational awareness will be essential for success in the role. Your considered, calm, versatile, pragmatic partnering approach, coupled with your communicative and adaptable people leadership style will be well regarded qualities.
