The University of Iowa, Division of Cardiovascular Medicine in the Department of Internal Medicine is recruiting a BC/BE non-invasive cardiologist for a faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the clinical track. The successful candidate will join a large academic group. Experience in advanced ECHO and Transthoracic Echocardiography along with cardiac MRI and/or CT is preferred. Evidence of a commitment to clinical teaching, clinical research and/or outcomes research is desired. Patient care will occur at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, affiliated outreach sites and the affiliated Iowa City VA Medical Center.
Education Requirement:
M.D. degree or equivalent.
Completion of an ACGME accredited Residency Program.
Certifications:
BC/BE non-invasive cardiologist
Desirable Qualifications:
Evidence of a commitment to clinical teaching, clinical research and/or outcomes research is desired.
Experience in advanced ECHO and Transthoracic Echocardiography along with cardiac MRI and/or CT is preferred.
