Job description

Graduate Business Partnership

Job Summary - The University of Exeter's Corporate Services team has a new opportunity for a recent graduate to gain skills and experience in policy development, student service development, and data management. You will assist an established team by supporting with specialist administration, providing advice and guidance to students, and liaising with academic and professional services staff across all faculties and several professional services. This role is part of the Graduate Business Partnership (GBP) scheme and offers full-time hours (36.5 hours per week) for 12 months. You will be based on campus in Exeter with the flexibility for remote working and access to a competitive range of benefits including a generous holiday allowance and bespoke training and networking opportunities. About You - You should be a graduate who has the ability to communicate effectively in person, writing, and telephone with a diverse range of people, is able to draft clear and concise reports and letters, has excellent IT skills, the ability to interpret regulations and procedure, a proven track record to exercise tact and discretion, and the ability act as secretary to committees, hearings or other meetings in accordance with relevant University policies and procedures. You should have excellent attention to detail, the ability to obtain cooperation by developing excellent working relationships, the ability to contribute to a positive team working culture, be able to always present a professional image, be able to be flexible and deal with frequent interruptions whilst maintaining focus and accuracy, and have confidence to work independently with appropriate supervision. You should also have experience of using databases and record systems, handling complex processes, tracking progress and reporting on outcomes, delivering an exceptional level of customer service, handling complex enquires, working independently, including experience in prioritising and meeting deadlines under pressure, plus recent relevant admin experience.
