  • Position Summary:

    University of Alaska Southeast, School of Arts & Sciences is accepting applications for adjunct faculty members for the upcoming academic year 2022-2023. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking professional teaching experience who have a passion for educating others in a specific subject. Adjunct positions are filled on a temporary basis.     Duties:

    Review of applications will be on an as-needed basis. A successful applicant in the temporary pool is not guaranteed an offer of employment. All candidates will be evaluated on academic preparation, past teaching experience, and potential for providing high quality instruction to undergraduate students. A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience in a related field is required, though many fields require a Master's degree. Applicants should have at least 2 years of relevant experience in subject field. Previous teaching experience is preferred. Should be familiar with computer and other technologies for instruction, such as Blackboard
