Full-time/Part-time Senior Research Assistant (holding the functional title
of Medical Social Worker) in the Department of Social Work and Social
Administration (Ref.: 508258) (to commence as soon as possible for one

This position is jointly recruited by the Department of Social Work and Social
Administration, and the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in Social Work or a
related discipline, with three years' post-qualification experience; or a
Master's degree in the aforementioned discipline with one year's post-
qualification experience. They should be a Registered Social Worker. They
should have a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese
(including Cantonese); good communication skills; ability to work
independently and as a team player; be self-motivated; and familiar with
quantitative and qualitative research methods.
The appointee will develop psychosocial care service on reproductive medicine
in Queen Mary Hospital and Kwong Wah Hospital. He/She will assist the
Principal Investigator in conducting case and group counseling, field works,
and health education; support in intervention programmes; coordinate ongoing
research projects; draft reports, and perform any other duties as assigned.
He/She will be required to work on irregular working hours occasionally.
