Full-time/Part-time Research Assistant I (2 posts) in the Department
of Law (Ref.: 516538) (to commence on October 24, 2022 or as soon as
possible thereafter for 5 months)
Applicants should possess a good Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Law or in
related Social Sciences. In addition, the following skills are required and
must be demonstrated through past academic achievements and/or related work
experiences in conducting research:
Excellent writing skills and ability to advance coherent legal and/or
Previous experience and/or a solid interest in financial regulation (with
particular focus on banking, lending activities, and prudential
supervision), FinTech, and/or law reforms to promote financial inclusion
(with particular focus on access to credit and financial stability).
Ability to work autonomously within a team.
The ability to maintain a sound governance framework for research activities
in order to ensure appropriate ethical conducts is desirable, but not
The appointees will work on the project entitled Creating Credit: Law
Reforms, Policy Tensions, and Disruptive Technologies. He/She will assist
the Principal Investigator and other team members by conducting literature
review, collecting quantitative and qualitative data, assisting in drafting
and editing research outputs. Other activities include coordination with
internal and external parties to ensure dissemination and outreach of research
