Assistant in the group of research and teaching staff, ready for active scientific and research work as well as teaching (laboratory exercises) in accordance with the profile of the Chair. The candidate will be offered support in scientific development, the possibility of participation in scientific projects, possibility of international cooperation.

The offer is open to persons who meet the following basic eligibility criteria

Hold a master's or bachelor's degree in computer science, automation, electronics, or a related field, and have a high motivation for scientific and research work.

Have a good command of spoken and written English and be conscientious and available.

Responsibilities

Conducting scientific research related to the academic activity profile of the Department.

Planning, conducting and implementation of scientific experiments.

Participation in didacticprocess

Participation in organizational, scientific and didactic undertakings of the Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology.

Specific Requirements

When evaluating candidates, the following elements will also be taken into account:

Programming skills in C, C++, Java, and Python, as well as knowledge of algorithms and data structures, software engineering, and cryptography and cybersecurity issues.

Professional experience working in the industry (including participation in projects) in selected fields related to the listed scientific and research areas.

Experience in research work conducted within the framework of scientific projects.

Scientific achievements and participation in scientific conferences in the field of programming languages, parallel processing, optimization and compilation.

Participation in relevant conferences in the field of commercial computer science.

Experience in teaching, including English language classes.

Possession of certificates confirming knowledge of one of the conference languages (English preferred).

Ability to work in a team.
