The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Split, is
offering a position for work for one professor - in the humanities-philology.
Applicants should fulfill the conditions stipulated in the Croatian Law on
Scientific Activity and Higher Education (Zakon o znanstvenoj djelatnosti i
visokom obrazovanju, NN no. 123/03, 198/03, 105/04, 174/04, 2/07. - Resolution
USRH, 46/07, 45/09, 63/11, 94/13, 139/13, 101/14, 60/15 and 131/17) and the
regulations based upon it.
In addition to the signed job application, applicants should attach:
a) CV
b) copy of passport or ID
c) copies of all appropriate diplomas
d) an overview of teaching and professional activities
e) copy of proof of professional experience
f) a list and offprints of relevant publications
g) relevant publications
The curriculum vitae, an overview of the applicant's scientific research,
teaching and professional activity and a list of works should be submitted in
both paper and electronic form (1 CD copy).
If applicants obtained their qualifications abroad, it is necessary to attach
a document confirming the recognition of these foreign higher education
qualifications. Foreign nationals should also attach certified proof of
knowledge of the Croatian language (advanced knowledge).
Eligibility criteria
Persons of both genders are equally eligible to apply.
Applicants who invoke their precedence rights in employment in accordance with
special regulations are required to do so in their application to the contest
and have an advantage over other candidates only under the same conditions
established in the contest and based on an orderly, complete and timely
application to the contest

Selection process
Late and incomplete applications will not be taken into consideration nor will
the applicants be called on for subsequent amendments of their applications.
Applicants will be informed of the contest results within the legal deadline.
