Position Title Front Office - Work Study SU23

Student Status Work Study Required- You are required to be a Federal Work Study Recipient to hold this position. Work Location Springfield Campus Department Marketing Hiring Range 12.50/hr. Department/Employer Operating Hours Marketing Department How many hours per week are required? 5-10 Description of Primary Duties

Student worker duties include answering phones, making copies as needed, directing incoming office traffic, occasionally running errands across campus, picking up and delivering mail, keeping supplies stocked, typing various documents, covering the front office when the Administrative Assistant and Department Head is out of the office and performing light housekeeping among such other duties. Departmental writing assignments for social media, internal/external communication and such other tasks. When needed fill in for front desk student worker tasks such as answering phones, covering front office and typing up various documents among such other duties.

Required Qualifications

Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher and qualify for Federal Work Study. Detail oriented, ability to work well with deadlines, task oriented, problem solver, having good communication and analytical skills, organized, good time manager, and strong written communication skills. Professional/creative writing/English majors or equivalent is a plus.
