Description
The Performing Arts Department at the University of Plymouth are looking for Freelance Musical Theatre Pianists who will be required to support the BA (Hons) Musical Theatre course.
Applicants should have knowledge of Musical Theatre repertoire, good sight- reading ability and a willingness to engage with the learning environment. Some experience in Musical Direction would be an advantage. Initially, the work would involve between four and eight hours a week, but as the course grows this is likely to increase. Accompaniment for some production rehearsals and assessed performances will also form part of the contractual agreement.
The contract will begin in January 2024 and for the initial periods of January 22nd - February 16th; February 26th - March 22nd; April 15th - Approx May 17th.
