This post is full time and permanent, working 35 hours per week.

We are looking for a Fitness instructor who will work at the University fitness facilities.

The postholder will provide a professional fitness service including professional advice on correct equipment usage, undertaking inductions and developing personal fitness programs, fitness testing and providing personal fitness instruction.

The role requires a flexible approach to both the nature of work and hours worked, including early and late shift where you will be opening and closing the facility alongside other administrative duties such as end of day banking.

Although the post requires some receptionist duties it is envisaged that the role will be highly customer focused. The post holder will therefore spend significant amounts of time working alongside customers and taking enquiries from visitors.

This role will be based mainly at our Harrow campus but it would be expected for the postholder to work across the different campuses when required.

There is an expectation of teaching classes as part of the working day.

If you do not already have first aid training, you will be required to complete the course once in post.
