Position InformationUnder the direction of the Financial Operations Manager of the multi- departmental Institute for Integrative Genome Biology (IIGB), performs administrative and financial services in support of an Organized Research Unit with multiple large Sales and Service operations involving internal and external customers, an active calendar of academic events, and multi- departmental project and training grants. The multidisciplinary nature of IIGB requires coordination and interaction with a variety of internal and external customers, and the varied nature of job responsibilities requires analysis of and proficiency in internal policies, applications, and controls. The full salary range for the FINANCIAL SVC ANL 2 is $52,100 to $89,700. The expected pay scale for this position is $52,100 - $58,000. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.

Skills to provide coaching and mentoring to support staff. Ability to adapt to changing priorities. Proficiency in the use of spreadsheet and database software. Ability to function effectively as a member of a team. Strong interpersonal skills, analytical skills, service orientation, active listening, critical thinking, attention to detail, ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills, effective verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment and decision making.
Preferred QualificationsDemonstrated knowledge of utilizing Oracle PeopleSoft and Concur
Demonstrated knowledge of UC and UCR policies and procedures.
