Major/Essential Functions

  • Work in conjunction with Senior Analyst to reconcile daily deposit activity.
  • Print checks for payment services.
  • Maintain SBS deposit logs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound and outbound telephone calls and emails.
  • Manage the SBS document storage process within Xtender.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all inbound student payments whether by phone or in person.
  • Maintain the elect-to-pay application.
  • Monitor stale dated checks.
  • Mange the process of sending "welcome" email to all new first time students.
  • Review and final approve on behalf of SBS all institutional and departmental cash receipts.
  • Department business owner of the cash receipt system system development, system testing, user training and
  • communication to the institution about system issues.
  • Manage the endorsement stamp process and oversee the annual audit of endorsement stamps.
  • Process employee tuition assistance waivers.
  • Assist the Student Business Services Office with other duties and projects as needed.
  • Assist in conducting random, unannounced cash counts on behalf of Business Affairs.
  • Assist Associate Director in the daily formula funding analysis.
  • Quarterly review of the integrity of the SBS website as well as submit all content change requests.

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors in finance or accounting preferred. Experienced in Banner financial system and IBM Cognos reporting software.
  • Cash handling experience preferred. Ability to perform tasks and manage complex data with a high degree of accuracy and timeliness.
  • Experience in college or university environment is a plus.
