  • The Finance Business Partner is integral to the Leadership Team within the Faculties/Directorates and provides strategic financial advice to support and influence budget holders on activity. The role provides insight to the directorate budget holders regarding central objectives and initiatives.

    The Person

    Background and Experience Required:

    Studying for accountancy qualification/willingness to study for an agreed accountancy qualification.

    Highly organised and methodical, with excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work collaboratively with people at all levels to achieve results.

    Highly numerate and accurate with attention to detail, with the habit of checking own work.

    Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Works well under pressure and be able to multi-task and organise workload for self to meet deadlines.

    Willingness to participate in ongoing professional and management development activities.

    Proficient in the use of accounting software and office technology including word processing, databases and spreadsheets.

    This is a full time, permanent position with a starting salary of £48,251 per annum.
