Job description
Permanent, 37 hours per week
A challenging opportunity has arisen within the School for an experienced Finance Manager with excellent organisational and administrative skills.
You should be reliable and able to work on your own initiative, with the ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels, particularly as a member of a team. You should possess the relevant skills and personal qualities to undertake the range of duties and the ability to work accurately and consistently.
You must be educated to at least degree level or equivalent (AAT), you will be a proactive and entrepreneurial individual, with excellent team-working skills and the ability to liaise with a wide range of business stakeholders.
You must have experience of working in a finance environment and possess good organisational skills, preparing management reports, budgetary monitoring reports and reporting to the senior management team. Experience of preparing documents for internal audits, or experience of working in Higher Education would be a distinct advantage.
You must have experience and usage of computer packages such as Microsoft Word, working on excel spreadsheets and databases. Training will be provided for all relevant University specific packages.
