PRIMARY PURPOSE: General maintenance and monitoring of the ceramics lab during open lab hours and beyond. Training is available.
Job Location is on the Bend Campus.

Essential Functions:
Safety & Security: Student worker is responsible for the safety and security of the equipment in the classroom during open lab and firing hours. Also responsible for turning off all equipment at the end of the shift and verifying the room is locked and secure. If there are any issues or problems with this, the student must contact either the instructor or administrative assistant to assist in securing the area safely.

Individuals must possess these knowledge, skills and abilities or be able to explain and demonstrate that the individual can perform the duties and responsibilities of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities. The individual is expected to follow College work rules and policies.
Physical Demands and Other Ergonomic Requirements:
A flexible work schedule may be necessary due to the nature of the responsibilities. There may be opportunities for evening or weekend hours. Regular FAC office hours are between 8 am – 5 pm Monday through Friday.
Requires to write, read written materials and computer screens, and ability to use telephonic conversations. Occasional lifting up to 25lbs. May need to use a ladder. May perform kiln duties outdoors. All individuals are required to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

1. Must have been awarded and accepted Federal Work-Study for 2022-2023. 2. Successfully pass a background check. 3. Must be meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress for financial aid.
